Compassion Men are invited to a 9 Hole Golf Scramble on Sunday, October 13 following second service at Hidden Valley Golf Course. The cost is $12 per adult, $10 if you’re over 55.
Join us for a fun night out on Saturday, October 26. This is a family friendly event from 5-7 at Penn Lanes. The cost is $3 per child and $5 per adult. Reservations and payments must be made at Connecting Point. Costumes are encouraged, but not required and Compassion will provide candy and desserts for kids. Children of all ages, including teens, are invited
November 1 through December 7, we will be collecting toys for the Delaware Dream Center. Christmas Hope is a highlight for families in the Dream Center programs. Kids get to join in a fun Christmas party while their parents are provided with a memorable Christmas shopping experience at no cost. Come alongside these families by providing gifts for kids ages 0-18 (Around $15 per toy).
Join us at Camp Lazarus in Delaware after church on Sunday, November 17 for Friendsgiving. The whole church is invited, kids included! Compassion will supply the meat, sides, and drinks. We will have a dessert contest, so consider making something to share!
On Sunday, December 1 we will have one service at 10:30am. Following the service, we need your help to DECK THE HALLS with Christmas decor.
Our church wide Christmas Party will be held at Der Dutchman from 6-9pm on Saturday, December 7. This event is for adults 18 and older. A buffet style dinner will be provided and the cost is $10 per person. We will have music and other activities on this night as well!
Middle and High School students are invited to the Youth Group Christmas Party on Sunday, December 15 from 6-8pm. They can invite their friends, enjoy food, games, and festive games!
On December 24, we will have two identical Christmas Eve Services at 4 and 6pm. We hope you’ll invite someone to hear the Good News!
On Sunday, December 29 we will only have one service at 10:30am. After the service we could use your help to “undeck the halls” and put our Christmas decor away.
First Monday of the month from 6:30-8pm, Lifeline of Hope meets at Compassion and offers help, through phone calls, to exploited individuals caught in the trafficking industry. You can volunteer by signing up at Connecting Point.
On fourth Sundays we like to show appreciation to all of our Sunday morning volunteers by providing donuts and snacks between services in the Green Room.
Youth Group is for middle and high school students. They typically meet on First and Third Sunday nights unless it’s a holiday weekend. Students are encouraged to invite their friends for games, food, and fellowship from 6:30-8pm in The Compassion Center.
