The book of Judges chronicles the stories of military leaders God raised up to deliver and save His people from their enemies. These men (and one woman) were rugged, courageous, rash and frail. In other words, these flawed saviors could only give temporary, partial and imperfect deliverance to God’s people. The book of Judges points to a greater Judge, Jesus Christ, who is King and Savior of His people. In this six-week series, join Compassion as we discover how God always uses imperfect people to accomplish His perfect will. We need this teaching because we, too, live in a time where “everyone {does} what is right in their own eyes.” We, too, need an eternal deliverer and Savior.
